KRISS DEIGLMEIER
Chief Executive Officer, Tides

Kriss Deiglmeier has more than 20 years of cross-sector senior executive experience. In 2016, she was named one of the “50 most influential women in Philanthropy” by Philanthropy Insider. Kriss is recognized as a pioneer in the field of social innovation and has presented internationally on social innovation, social entrepreneurship, design thinking, and public-private partnerships.

Kriss is currently Chief Executive Officer of Tides Network, a global social enterprise. In 2015, Tides granted over $150 million in the US and in 110 countries globally. Before joining Tides, Kriss was the founding Executive Director for the Center for Social Innovation (CSI) at Stanford.  She established CSI as a global leader in the emerging social innovation field. Kriss also worked as an Advisor to the Stanford Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies. As a guest-lecturer, she has taught at Stanford Graduate School of Business, University of California, Berkeley, Hitotsubashi University, and more. Kriss has also written and published leading thought pieces on social impact, including co-authoring the article, “Rediscovering Social Innovation.”

Kriss received her BA from the University of Washington and her MBA from UC Berkeley, and has served on a number of boards and advisory groups.

JACKI KELLEY
Chief Operating Officer, Bloomberg Media

Jacki Kelley is Chief Operating Officer of Bloomberg Media Group, Bloomberg L.P.’s global multi-platform media organization. Jacki leads business operations with a focus on driving global revenue growth, brand strength, and developing the company’s new media strategy.

A dynamic leader with more than 20 years of experience, Jacki is widely credited with disrupting traditional business models to successfully meet client objectives. She served as CEO for IPG Mediabrands North America and President of Global Clients, most recently dedicating all of her time to leading IPG’s successful bid for all of Microsoft’s creative and deployment work globally. Jacki has also held various business roles at Yahoo!, and Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia.

Jacki has been honored time and again throughout her career for her extraordinary work. She was named a Matrix Award Honoree by New York Women in Communications; Advertising Woman of the Year by the Advertising Women of New York; and was inducted into the American Advertising Federation Hall of Achievement.

Jacki started her career at USA TODAY, where she rose from an intern to Senior Vice President of Advertising, overseeing advertising and marketing for all international and domestic editions of the newspaper.

MAROA C. VELEZ
Partner & Head of Service Delivery, Brown Brothers Harriman

Maroa C. Velez is a Partner, and the Head of Service Delivery at Brown Brothers Harriman, which encompasses the Firm’s Operations and Client Service divisions. Maroa joined BBH in 1995 as the head of the Audit department and served as Comptroller from 2000 until 2007. She was appointed Partner and assumed oversight of Operations in 2008.

Prior to joining BBH, Maroa was the general auditor at Empire Blue Cross and Blue Shield and, before that, she managed the audit division of Manufacturers Hanover Trust Co., with responsibilities for the global audit program of capital markets trading activities, trust, securities services, private banking and finance. Maroa has also worked in the public accounting area of Deloitte & Touche, where she specialized in brokerage and banking institutions.

Passionate about helping people rise out of poverty, Maroa is a United Way Tocqueville Society member and serves on the board of trustees for Boston Medical Center. She holds a BS degree in accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University and is a Certified Public Accountant. Maroa was born in Cuba and now lives in Montville, New Jersey with her husband and son.
